Pacific Access was founded in 1994 in Hong Kong as a subsidiary of a multinational conglomerate, mainly focusing on appliances, automotive, and retail industries. It acted as an umbrella organization and managed the group company’s businesses in the region.
1999 - 2007
Export & Growth
In this period the company was mainly active in exporting appliances, mold, machinery, retail goods to its sister companies. In 2003, our China office started operating in Shenzhen, followed by the Shanghai and Ningbo offices in 2004. As a result of rapid and solid growth, we became a big exporter of household appliances and retail products. We became one of the top three exporters of air-conditioners from China, exceeding a turnover of $500 million per year.
2007 - 2011
Pacific Access grew from a subsidiary to a well-established, multinational trading organization with its more than 80 teammates and branch offices in the USA, Brazil, Israel, and Turkey, providing supply chain management services all over the world for its clients in trading, product development, and logistics among others.
2012 - Present
Diversity & Innovation
As a result of a management buyout conducted by its existing management, the company was acquired as a whole from the parent organization in 2012 to be able to manage a larger and more diversified customer portfolio. This change accelerated us by giving more flexibility and dynamism to the team. Today Pacific Access offers innovative, sophisticated, end-to-end supply chain solutions for brands and retailers in a wide range from product design, development, sourcing and production management to quality control and global freight management.
